My Story

Welcome to Elly May Boutique! I am so happy you are here! Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Ellen May and I founded Elly May Boutique. Elly May has always been my childhood nickname, family members, friends, teachers, have known me as "Elly May" for the majority of my upbringing. May is a family name and I knew I wanted to honor it when creating my business. I graduated from Louisiana State University (LSU) in May, 2024 with a bachelor's degree in Textile Science, Apparel Design, and Merchandising, specializing in Fashion Merchandising. Studying Fashion at LSU was a one-of-a-kind experience where I met amazing people, took part in extraordinary projects and research, and got to explore my creativity. My goal with Elly May Boutique is to help you, the customer, find unique and fun pieces to enhance your style. I truly believe an outfit that makes you feel confident is worth a million bucks. So let me, Elly May, style you (for much less than a million bucks)!
